Wordle: Dear Dr. Young - RM
I shy away from the idea of having any sort of online persona. I definitely enjoy Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and (my new favorite!) Instagram. However, I realize that I have to be mindful about what I post and aware that even though it is private, that doesn't make it impossible for people to see things that I don't want them to see. I routinely search for myself on Google just to see what turns up. One way to eliminate concern is to be mindful of what pictures may be taken of me and set my Facebook so that posts by others have to be approved before they are seen on my profile.

Since the initial fear of creating my portfolio has worn off, I'm actually excited to create it in order to showcase the best examples of my work and resume. I plan on doing this through Google Sites. When it comes time to apply for teaching positions, presenting my portfolio will definitely be to my benefit as opposed to simply my resume.
